Have you heard the expression, "Jack of all trades; master of none?" When someone has a true gift and a passion for an art form, one can master this field and use his/her talent to help others. It is when our egos allow us to believe we can do everything that we fall short as healers and providers.
Sometimes, certain modalities are not well accepted by the mind or body. Sometimes, two personalities do not work well together. This leads people down one of two paths: settling for a provider/service that is not truly helping or giving up after countless searches and trials of providers. You deserve better.

Inner Compass is a growing team of specialized holistic health, wellness, and spiritual providers that understand that one size does not fit all. At Inner Compass, we strive to learn about your unique personality and needs and match you with a provider that can best serve you on your health, wellness, and/or spiritual journey. You should never have to settle when it comes to your well-being.

Working in healthcare for several years, Lauren became frustrated with the rules and limitations placed on helping people. Lauren practiced as an Occupational Therapist in a hospital setting, improving the independence of some while helplessly watching others hang on by a thread. During her journey to find more holistic health solutions for her family, Lauren discovered the energetic world. She learned how to listen to the body, mind, spirit, and environment to uncover health solutions. With the right combination of knowledge and intuition, Lauren was able to achieve a new level of health and wellness. It became her passion to help others do the same.
Lauren works with the whole person: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. The goal is not to quiet symptoms, but to identify and address underlying causes in order to manage health, promote resilience, and inspire a sense of thriving in all aspects of life. There are many environmental threats that prevent people from achieving their optimal physical and mental health. Lauren performs home and office evaluations and provides education on how to detoxify the physical environment. She also meets one-on-one with her clients to assist in detoxifying their mind and overcoming barriers to a healthy, satisfying life. Lauren teaches her clients to search for meaning and value by listening to their inner self and creating goals that reflect their vision. She aims to build a trusting relationship with each of her clients and provide a comfortable space for personal exploration and growth. Lauren’s goal is to empower her clients to love the life they live and pursue the life they love.
Lauren has a BA in Psychology and a MS in Occupational Therapy with a strong research and statistics background. Lauren has experience working with child development, behavior management, mental health, addiction, and both acute and chronic physical health conditions.
