Inner Compass Office Interventions

Well-being is becoming a core responsibility of good corporate citizenship and a critical strategy to drive employee engagement, organizational energy, and productivity. It is also a growing expectation among the talent companies want to recruit, access, and retain. No longer an optional element of the rewards menu, well-being is now front and center as a business imperative for high-performance companies.

In today’s world of always-on total-connectedness we really struggle to turn off the switch.

Due to the increased cortisol levels “the stress hormone” this connected state produces, spending too much time here causes burn-out, health problems and decreased effectiveness. Fact: 42% of employees report changing a job due to stress!

Inner Compass provides the tools for reducing stress, improving health, and balancing life's demands. Let us show you how to foster a culture where the people in your life feel valued, heard, and engaged, both at home and in office. We look forward to speaking with you further.

COVID-19: Online Health Course for Employees

"Empowering Yourself at Work & Beyond"

Due to the current world health crisis, business operations have suffered.

This course is designed to address employee concerns, increase confidence in the workplace, and guide leadership staff and employees during this challenging time.

The course includes a 6-minute leadership team video and two 12-minute employee videos:

-Embracing Change: This video teaches viewers how to manage stress, reframe their mind, and accept (rather than fear) the new changes.

-Supporting the Immune System: This video educates viewers on ways to improve their immune system, offering a sense of protection and control over their health.

The goal is to ease the transition and empower the leadership team and employees, providing confidence and a sense of control during a time of uncertainty.

There are many threats that prevent people from achieving their optimal physical and mental health. Lauren performs workplace evaluations to identify environmental stressors (i.e. chemicals, nutrition) and provides education on how to detoxify the physical environment. Lauren provides a verbal consultation as well as a formal write-up addressing all areas of concerns with recommendations for improvements.

Workplace injury can be caused by a single incident, repetitive motion, or prolonged physical stress on the body. Injury can result in workplace stress, decreased productivity, time off work, and increased insurance premiums. Decrease the potential for injury with an ergonomic evaluation. Lauren will assess work spaces and provide recommendations to decrease physical stress on the body.

Leadership requires more than business knowledge. Emotional intelligence is an essential component of successfully leading others. Inner Compass evaluates the functionality of the current business climate in order to develop a plan of action. We are then able to determine the needs of the organization and create a plan to achieve business goals.

Communication is a key component of a successful business. Inner Compass provides assessments to assist with business strategies as well as personal development. We create a personalized business plan to improve effective communication in all areas to elevate your business into the new climate of connecting with employees and customers.

At Inner Compass we’re super passionate about meditation! For all of us, it was the beginning of a change that transformed our lives. And now, we want to share that gift with you.

One question many beginning a meditation practice ask: “Am I doing it right?”

There are literally hundreds of meditation techniques taught by a wide variety of traditions and institutions. So... it’s difficult to do it “wrong.” But the journey of meditation is all about finding the technique that suits you best. And that is why we are here. To guide you on the path to establish a routine that is perfect for YOU!!

Coaches/Life-Hackers J. Currie and Dr. Kannan have designed this series to teach how, in this busy world we find ourselves in, we can achieve the work-life balance everyone is talking about. Using science-backed techniques, participants experience amazing transformations by integrating small shifts in awareness and perspective.

Lauren P. Lyman,

Working in healthcare for several years, Lauren became frustrated with the rules and limitations placed on helping people. Lauren practiced as an Occupational Therapist in a hospital setting, improving the independence of some while helplessly watching others hang on by a thread. During her journey to find more holistic health solutions for her family, Lauren discovered the energetic world. She learned how to listen to the body, mind, spirit, and environment to uncover health solutions. With the right combination of knowledge and intuition, Lauren was able to achieve a new level of health and wellness. It became her passion to help others do the same.

Lauren works with the whole person: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. The goal is not to quiet symptoms, but to identify and address underlying causes in order to manage health, promote resilience, and inspire a sense of thriving in all aspects of life. There are many environmental threats that prevent people from achieving their optimal physical and mental health. Lauren performs home and office evaluations and provides education on how to detoxify the physical environment. She also meets one-on-one with her clients to assist in detoxifying their mind and overcoming barriers to a healthy, satisfying life. Lauren teaches her clients to search for meaning and value by listening to their inner self and creating goals that reflect their vision. She aims to build a trusting relationship with each of her clients and provide a comfortable space for personal exploration and growth. Lauren’s goal is to empower her clients to love the life they live and pursue the life they love.

Lauren has a BA in Psychology and a MS in Occupational Therapy with a strong research and statistics background. Lauren has experience working with child development, behavior management, mental health, addiction, and both acute and chronic physical health conditions.
